Lessons from the GFC

It might have been the worst crisis since 1929 and we all hope we never experience anything like it again but one day it will be a dim memory. Optimism will return, markets will boom and optimism will become reckless optimism fed by greed. Booms and busts will happen again with all assets (yes, even property!). Ask the professionals managing your portfolio “what lessons did you learn from the GFC”. Make sure you are comforted by their answer.
